Changelog

We were quiet for two years. Here’s everything we shipped.

Inviter started as a Slack invite page. It now runs the front door for communities on Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp and Slack — applications, approvals, events and ticketing.

  1. New

    Share cards when you publish

When you publish, we generate an Open Graph card so Slack, iMessage, and social apps show a real preview — not your square logo. Free pages get an Inviter-branded card; Pro can include your community logo. Upload your own under Share Image and we leave it alone. Cards are rendered by OGForge.

  2. New

    Twilio Segment on Pro

Pro communities can connect a Twilio Segment source. Every event lead and join request syncs to it — then on to Mixpanel, Amplitude, or whatever you already run.

  3. Improved

We cut our ticket fee from 30% to 10%

On the Free plan the platform fee on ticket sales is now 10% — down from 30%. Pro is 5%. Stripe processing still applies on top, and ticket money still goes straight to your Stripe account.

  4. Improved

    Event pages in Google

Published events include structured data for search engines. That helps eligible events show up in Google’s event experiences — not just as a plain link.

  5. Improved

    Stripe ticketing

Connect Stripe once and sell tickets on your events. Payouts go straight to you — Inviter never holds ticket funds.

  6. Improved

    Events on your invite page

Host meetups, workshops, and online gatherings next to your join form. Free RSVP or paid tickets — no separate event brand required.

  7. Improved

    A public community directory

Public communities appear in the Inviter directory by platform and category — and get a crawlable page Google can index.

  8. Improved

    CSV member export

Export members as CSV whenever you need them offline, in another tool, or for a backup. Custom application answers come along for the ride.

  9. Improved

    Team members on Pro

Invite your mods. Pro includes up to 10 team members so approvals and page edits are not stuck on one inbox.

  10. Improved

    New page templates

Pick a look that fits your community. Classic stays free; Split and Neobrutalist give Pro communities more control over the page.

  11. Improved

    Real analytics

See who visits your page, where they drop off in the join funnel, and which countries, devices, and referral sources actually convert.

  12. Improved

    Screening controls

Filter spam before it hits your queue. Turn on email verification, captcha, country allow/deny rules, and GDPR consent without bolting on extra tools.

  13. Improved

Application forms and an approval queue

Custom join questions replace a blind invite link. Review every request in a queue and approve or reject with one click.

  14. Improved

    Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp support

Inviter started as a Slack invite page. You can now connect Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Slack — and approved members are delivered to the right one automatically.
